BALLOT INITIATIVE & SPECIAL MEETING
Greetings, Neighbors!
As I mentioned in my letter earlier today (Monday) we are holding a RUSH VOTE to approve two measures in 10 days by the Special Meeting March 4th, next Wednesday at 7:00 at the Pyle Center next door to the Tempe Public Library. This meeting will be run hybrid watch for the Zoom link if you need to join by video call.
You will receive an email shortly with the ballot as an attachment. Paper ballots are on their way to you and should arrive in 2-3 days
The two separate questions are:
Q1) Whether or not the Board of Directors may accept a Small Business Administration disaster relief loan offer of $2,000,000 with a 30-year term at 3.625% interest.
Q2) To repay this loan through a Special Assessment to begin in December 2026, with payment plans available.
Put the Special Meeting on your calendar now.

Detailed information about these ballot questions are on the attached ballot and in the email sent Monday February 23 at 1:27PM. Ask your board members questions, and thinking through your response.
Absentee ballots need to be mailed ASAP or hand delivered to Heywood Community Management at 42 S Hamilton Pl #101 in Gilbert AZ 85233 by 5PM on March 4th.
In-person voting maybe done at the Special Meeting on March 4th at 7:00 PM at the Pyle Center.
